My name is Tennessee and I come from France. I study Applied Foreign Languages in Toulon University and as part of my degree I did a work placement for ten weeks at Languages United. It is a language school in Bath which provides English courses as a foreign language, for groups and individuals junior or adult students throughout the year from beginners to advanced levels. The ethos of the school is to have fun and enjoy learning.

Overall a great atmosphere. The people I worked with were so kind and helpul to me, they gave me the opportunity to improve my English and the knowledge of a school’s management. I really appreciated the contact with students from different cultures. During the first three weeks of my internship we welcomed a Thai Group  and it was such a fantastic experience, we had a lot of fun together.  

Bath is a wonderful city I loved my stay, with a lot of pubs, restaurants and shops where you can go. But my best memory of my stay in Bath is the Skyline Walk. The city is surrounded by  6 miles of paths offering you wonderful views of the World Heritage City. I was surprised by the great diversity of landscapes you can find in just one walk: the forest, the lowland, the park, the valley… If you need a break after a hard week, the countryside you will find in the Skyline Walk is the way to relax and enjoyed the green landscapes by yourself or with friends. I really recommend you take the time to discover Bath and its surrounding, you will not regret it!

No matter how old you are, no matter where you come from Bath will offer you the culture and the entertainment you need!
