Students follow a course-book based programme in classes at an appropriate English language level. Your lessons will focus on the development of your general English language level.

This course runs in the morning, leaving you enough time to explore the city of Bath, relax or study.

Small group tuition provides each student with the opportunity to have more focus from the teacher on their specific needs. This course includes all the English skills taught in General English 20, but you will be studying for longer hours to maximise your learning.

This intensive course is composed of morning and afternoon lessons. Your afternoon lessons will focus on developing your language skills further and work on areas of interest to you. The range of afternoon classes offered will change from time to time to reflect the composition of students in the class. Specific areas may include:

• Cambridge First Preparation
• Cambridge Advanced Preparation

If you have specific requirements or prefer studying individually with your teacher, focusing on your unique language needs, we can provide an individual course for you. This can be from developing your English to improving your general level and confidence.

Learning the sounds, stress patterns, rhythm and intonation patterns is a separate process from learning the grammar and vocabulary of a language. Our programme is designed to help you soften your accent and give you easily understandable conversational speech.

You will work one-to-one with an experienced teacher, identifying the trouble sounds and patterns, learning and hearing the differences between English sounds, producing and practising the new sounds and finally, incorporating those sounds into conversational speech.

Alongside accent reduction, our teacher can work with you to improve your public speaking skills.
