ENGLISH LANGUAGE SUMMER COURSE: KEY FACTS | |
---|---|
When is the English Language Summer School? | Summer School runs from June 27th - August 20th 2022. |
Who can attend? | The course is open to individuals and groups. |
What is in the activity programme? | You have 3 hours of English lessons every weekday morning. On your first day, you'll take a test so that we can put you into the best class for you. We'll also make sure you know about the school and keeping safe while you are on the course. In the afternoon there are sports and activities. On Thursday afternoon there is a half-day trip, and on Saturday a full-day trip. There is a typical programme above, but please ask us for a programme for the weeks you plan to book. |
How old do I have to be? |
The course is for students aged 12 - 17. It is possible for younger students (10-11 years old) to attend the course, please contact us for further details on when this is possible. You are placed in classes according to your level of English and age. |
Summer School Homestay Accommodation |
You stay with a homestay, who provides you with breakfast, and an evening meal. A packed lunch is provided by the school. You will normally be sharing a bedroom with another student of a similar age from a different country. If you are coming with a friend and would like to stay in the same homestay as your friend, please tell us this when you book your course. |
Other accommodation options |
As well as homestay accommodation, hostel accommodation is also available for groups of students. If you have your own accommodation - you are staying with friends or family - then that's fine as well. Please note that lunches are only provided if the school is providing accommodation. |
Where is the Summer School held? | The Homestay Summer School is run at Bath College, in the city-centre. |
How do I know my child will be safe? | We have comprehensive procedures in place for the welfare of students. Please see our Student Welfare page |
